Powerboat Courses 2012The RYA powerboat level 2 certificate covers all the basics you need to know for small powerboat handling. It looks at the IRPCS, launch and recovery, choice of boat and engine for purpose, weather and tide, and lots of practical exercises such as coming alongside and man overboard drills. The course takes two days, although a direct assessment option is available for those with powerboating experience already. A direct assessment could be covered in an evening. For more information on this, please contact us: angie@peterheadsailingclub.com or phone 07812380834. We will be running level 2 powerboat courses in 2011 over weekends. We may also be able to put on a powerboat level 2 course at other times to suit if we have a minimum of 2 applicants.
